IMS has actively engaged in capacity building for farmers, women, entrepreneurs, and youth since its inception. A comprehensive training cycle is followed, beginning with needs assessment of target groups. Based on the Training Needs Assessment (TNA), tailored programs are designed.

IMS has developed various training modules, manuals, and reference materials. Key training areas include: leadership, bookkeeping, business planning, costing and pricing, safety and security, hospitality, communication, enterprise development, and marketing.

Economic empowerment is at the heart of IMS’s mission. The organization collaborates with communities, organizations, and individuals to enhance social and economic well-being.

IMS supports beneficiaries in preparing business plans, conducting market surveys, and developing products/services. Several studies, including Rapid Market Assessments (RMA) and skills needs assessments, have been conducted to identify opportunities and strengthen the supply side.

Gender Mainstreaming:
IMS emphasizes women's participation across all activities. For over 20 years, the organization has employed and trained women alongside men. Women entrepreneurs, including those from urban and rural areas, are supported in starting and expanding businesses.

IMS also works with women farmers across Pakistan, equipping them with the skills to take active economic roles within their communities.
